Moroccan Oregano

Moroccan Oregano - Origanum compactum - Organic

Aromatic molecules : Carvacrol, thymol
Distilled organ : flowering top

Native to North Africa, this aromatic plant thrives on thin soil on a sunny mountainous slope. Its dark green, spicy-tasting leaves are oval and pointed, and its flowers are found in compact, scented pinkish purple inflorescences.

 

Traditionally known for its properties :

major broad-spectrum antibacterial • antiviral and immune stimulant • fungicide • antimycobacterial • general tonic, physical, mental and sexual stimulant.

Special precautions :

- Keep out of reach of young children.
- Does not replace a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Unless medical or pharmaceutical advice, not to use during the pregnancy and breast feeding and in the child of less than 3 years.
- Keep out of heat and light.

Professional advice:

Internal : 2 drops CTEO in a teaspoon of honey, olive oil or icing sugar under the tongue, 3 times a day.
External : 2 drops CTEO + 4 drops hazelnut oil, applied locally on skin infections, 3 times a day.
Can be dilutes in sesame oil, hazelnut oil, ...
On a daily basis, one can use aromatic oil capsules containing essential compact origan oil. They have to be taken at a rate of 1 capsule in the moring and in the evening with a cold drink during the meal as a precautionary to face difficult hygenic circumstances met by backpack travellers, doctors without borders...
